Introduction
This feature allows you to record an additional, so-called VIP reservation on a time slot that has been booked in the system or technically not available for booking.
This is especially useful in cases where intentional overbooking is required, for example for laboratory examinations, or when it is justified for two patients to be treated at the same time.
In case of VIP reservation on an existing examination, the new reservation is placed next to the existing one in the calendar.
Process of Creating a VIP Reservation
To create a parallel booking, follow these steps on the calendar interface:
Starting the VIP function: Click either on the specified column in the calendar on an existing appointment, or on a dark grey time slot.
Selecting the examination: If you clicked on an existing appointment, select the VIP reservation option at the bottom of the window that appears.
Both options will display a list. Select the desired examination or service from the list.
Entering details: When clicking on an existing appointment, the system automatically selects the same time as the original reservation (for example 13:00), or you can select the desired time manually.
Fill in the patient details and save the reservation in the usual way.
Checking the result: After a successful save, both the original reservation and the newly created VIP reservation will be visible next to each other in the same time slot in the calendar.
Tips
Tip: This function is ideal for quick blood tests or administrative tasks where overlap does not disrupt care.
Tip: In the calendar view, the width of parallel reservations may decrease to fit side-by-side, making them visually distinct.
