Introduction

The system provides the option to print queue numbers for the institution. This allows patients to receive their queue numbers and related useful information in physical form.

Printing queue numbers is a crucial step in the patient routing process. By using it, the patient calling function becomes complete.

The function is accessible via the "Patient routing" -> "Print settings" menu. Printers can be managed and print templates can be selected on this interface.

Selecting a print template

The print template determines the information displayed on the printed paper.

  • The system includes pre-defined templates.

  • It is also possible to request a custom queue number print template based on the institution's specific needs.

  • To select the desired template, click on the preview of the chosen queue number.

Adding and installing a printer

To add a printer to the system, the following installation steps are required on the computer initiating the print:

  1. Install Driver: Download the POS Windows Driver V5.0.7 file. Connect the device, then start the installer.

  2. Install Web Print SDK: Download the Windows Web Print SDK V2.1.4 file. After installation, run the program as an administrator.

  3. SDK settings: In the SDK Setting menu, check the "Use Certificate" option.

  4. Registering the printer in the system: Click the "Add printer" button in the system, then enter the name used during installation. It is critical that the name provided in the system's administration interface exactly matches the "Logical name" field in the Web Print SDK.

Printing in practice

After successful setup, queue number printing becomes available in the following locations:

  • The queue number print button appears on the booking card.

  • At the end of the check-in process.

  • The configured template will also apply during the Self check-in process.

Tips

Tip: Ensure that the printer name registered in the system matches the SDK "Logical name" setting exactly; otherwise, communication with the device will fail.

Summary

  • Queue number printing can be configured in the "Patient routing" -> "Print settings" menu.

  • Printed content works based on pre-defined or custom-requested templates.

  • Using the printer requires the installation of a specific driver and the Web Print SDK on the computer.
