Creating and Managing Screening Packages

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Screening packages allow multiple examinations to be grouped into a single unit, enabling the offering of complex health services to patients. This function makes administration and appointment booking more efficient, as the system handles the related examinations as a single package, taking into account their sequence of execution.

This article describes the process of creating packages, adding elements, and setting priorities.

Main Content

Creating a Screening Package

To manage screening packages, navigate to the Screening module > Screening packages menu. To assemble a new package, click the New screening package button.

During creation, the following basic information is required:

  • Select Institution: Choose the relevant healthcare institution.

  • Screening Package Name: The name must be entered in all available languages (Hungarian, English, Romanian) for international accessibility.

  • Screening Package Price: Enter the total price of the package in the appropriate currency.

  • Admin Help (optional): Internal description or help for administrators.

Assembling Package Elements

The list of examinations is located at the bottom of the screen, where elements to be included in the package can be selected.

  1. Find the desired examination in the list on the left.

  2. Use the arrows to move the examination to the Screening package composition column on the right.

  3. Set the Priority (from 1 to 10):

    • Priority determines the order in which examinations are performed.

    • If one examination must precede another, set a lower number for the one to be performed first.

    • If the order does not matter, examinations can be given the same priority level.

Email Settings and Saving

Unique confirmation email content can be attached to the package in the Email settings field. Additional important information for the patient can be recorded here. At the end of the process, click the Save button to record the data.

Managing Screening Packages

Saved packages appear in the list, where the following operations can be performed:

  • Details: The content of the package and the set priorities can be viewed.

  • Edit: Any previously entered data or composition can be modified.

  • Reservation: Searching for appointments and booking for the given package can be started directly.

  • Delete: Unwanted packages can be removed using the trash can icon.

Tips

Applying Priority: Always use priority if there is a technological sequence between examinations (e.g., certain lab tests must be performed on an empty stomach, before other tests).

Multilingualism: Ensure that the package name is filled in all languages; otherwise, patients may see incomplete information on the interface.

Summary

  • Screening packages are created and managed in the Screening module.

  • Entering the name in multiple languages is mandatory for proper display.

  • The order of examinations can be regulated on a priority scale between 1 and 10.

  • The system interface allows editing packages, viewing their details, or direct booking.

FAQ

How is it determined which examination should be first during booking?

The number specified in the priority field determines the order. The system attempts to book available slots in the order of priorities.
