Setting Lab Examination Prices

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Accurate management of laboratory test price lists and availability is fundamental for efficient institutional operation and precise billing. This function allows for the customization of various laboratory tests available in the system, the definition of prices, and the control of which items are bookable for patients. Through these settings, the institution maintains full control over the range of services offered and their appearance on online platforms.

  2. To activate an examination, click the toggle switch next to the item (turn it on).

  3. Once activated, enter the exact price of the examination in the Price field.

  4. Set the visibility and bookability of the item:

Exporting Data

The system provides the option to download the price list:

  2. The downloaded file contains the institution ID, item names, codes, and set prices.

  3. The file can be imported into spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) for further analysis.

Tips

Tip: It is recommended to regularly export the list to CSV format to have the current price list available as external documentation.

Tip: Before launching online bookings, always verify that the "Bookable by patient" toggle is only active for items that are actually intended for external patient booking.

Summary

  • Lab prices are managed within the "Lab item prices" section of the Lab module.

  • Institutional availability and patient bookability can be controlled separately.
