Switching Between and Managing Institutions

Introduction

The system allows users with access to multiple institutions or locations to easily switch between different interfaces. This feature ensures that only the relevant data, calendars, and profiles are displayed on the screen at any given time.

This guide explains how to navigate between different institutions and how switching affects the displayed information.

Selecting and Switching Institutions

Data display in the system is always aligned with the currently selected institution. If you are assigned to multiple organizations, follow these steps to switch views.

Steps to Switch

  1. Locate the top left corner of the screen, where the name of the currently active institution is displayed.

  2. Click on the institution's name.

  3. A drop-down list will appear showing all institutions your user account is assigned to.

  4. Select the institution from the list whose data you wish to view.

Effect on Data Display

Once a new institution is selected, the page content updates immediately. The system will display data exclusively related to the selected organization:

  • Examinations: Only examinations belonging to that specific location are listed.

  • Overview Calendar: The calendar view shows the schedule and bookings for that institution.

  • Doctor Profiles: Specialist profiles and their calendars are also filtered to show the selected institution.

Tips

Tip: Before recording a new appointment or modifying a calendar, always glance at the top left corner to verify you are working within the correct institution.

Tip: The list only contains institutions to which the administrator has assigned your user account. If a location is missing, contact the person responsible for permissions.

Can I see calendars for multiple institutions at once?

If I switch to another institution, will I lose unsaved data in the previous one?

Switching institutions reloads the page to fit the new context. It is recommended to finish and save any ongoing work (e.g., editing a form) before switching.
