Updated over 2 months ago

Introduction

The system allows you to send automated SMS reminders to patients prior to their scheduled appointments. This feature helps reduce no-shows and ensures patients are timely informed about their upcoming examinations.

The following guide details step-by-step how to configure the timing of these notifications and how to activate the service within the interface.

Configuration Steps

Managing Notifications

To configure automated messages, follow this path within the system:

  1. Navigate to Examination notification settings.

  2. Select Notification settings.

  3. Scroll down almost to the bottom of the page until you find the Patient SMS notifications section.

The interface displays a preview of how the sent message will look. The system automatically populates relevant details, such as:

  • Booking time.

  • Name of the clinic.

  • Phone number of the clinic.

Adding a New Notification

To activate the notification and set the timing, proceed as follows:

  1. Click the Add SMS button.

  2. In the field that appears, specify how many hours before the reservation the message should be sent (e.g., 2 hours).

  3. Click the Save patient text messages button to finalize the settings.

Tips

  • Tip: There is no need to manually type the appointment time or contact details into the message body; the system dynamically inserts these based on the booking data.

Summary

  • You can customize how many hours before the examination the patient receives the message.

  • Automatic sending is activated upon clicking the save button.
